Post subject: Close the message window

I have noticed that the message window fails to close if I move a message to
another folder using one of the folders already on the drop down menu.
However, If select "Choose a folder" and then do so, the message closes.

Me or Entourage?

I've noticed the same thing. Additionally, the drop down list does not update correctly as it did in 2004. This whole feature is basically broken in 2008, compared to 2004, which worked perfectly. I spend a lot of time cleaning up open message windows that have already been filed.

Makes you wonder... How could any decent programmer (or software manager) let that slip through? Are they under so much time pressure that stuff like this just gets broken and no one gives a sh*t? Its been over eleven months since your post, certainly they know about the bug.

Keep in mind that these newsgroups are not official feedback mechanisms
to report problems to Microsoft. These are peer-to-peer newsgroups where
users help other users. Microsoft does not own nor do they have control
over the content other than what they replicate on their own servers.

To send feedback to Microsoft you need to use their Help --> Send
Feedback tool found in any Office for Mac application.

The "HELP" window won't close - When I open a "Help" window in any of the Office 2004 programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.), I am not able to close the Help window - except by quitting the program. Any thoughts?
